Tim is owner of Tim McFadden Management and Consulting,  an artist management firm in Nashville, TN  he started in 2004.  He also consults labels, artists, publishing and other entertainment companies on promotion, marketing and A and R.

His current clients include:  Stonehoney,  The Hillbenders, New Country Rehab, Jesse Terry, Outshyne, Millstar Entertainment Group and Music Road Records.

Previous clients include: Sam Bush, Blue Highway, Robinella, Bradley Walker, Chuck Mead and others.

He was previously VP of rpm management working on the careers of Tim McGraw, Jessica Andrews, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jeffrey Steele and Billy Gilman.

For eight years before that, he owned Tim McFadden Promotions, (an independent radio promotion firm) and was on retainer with many labels and publishing companies, working on singles and albums by artists such as Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill and dozens more. In 1991, he started Giant Records Nashville with James Stroud and also worked on the opening of BNA Records. He was at RCA Records for eight years from 1978 to 1986 working on the careers of Dolly, Waylon, Milsap, Alabama, The Judds, Vince Gill and more. While at RCA, he was a regional promotion manager, a product manager and head of sales for the Nashville division.  He was Director of Music research at WGAR Radio in the mid 70’s.

Tim has also been active owning and running publishing companies and is a guitar player and producer.

He spent six years on the board of Leadership Music .  He is vice president of the board of the Americana Music Association, on the board of Folk Alliance International,  on the advisory council of  the W O Smith Music School (and is a volunteer guitar teacher there as well).  He actively supports St Jude Children’s Research Hospital,  the  Muscular Dystrophy Association, the W O Smith Music School, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
